Women’s Ministry

As women and members of Grace Community Church our purpose is to serve all members of Christ’s body and to encourage women to mature in Christ.

We receive our purpose from the following verses:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     1 Peter 4:10:  “As each has received a gift use it to serve one another  as good stewards of God’s varied grace.”

I Corinthians 14: 20: “Brothers, do not be children in your thinking. Be infants in evil, but in your thinking be mature.”

We have the following regularly scheduled activities to assist us in serving and maturing:

Women’s Weekly Prayer Meeting on Monday afternoon:

•  Serving:    The praises and needs of the church, our missionaries and individuals are lifted up to Christ in prayer.
• Maturing: Dependence on Christ to provide for all our needs in His timing.

“T” ( Theology) Room meets weekly on Friday Morning at the church – Currently Zechariah is the topic being discussed in a roundtable format.

• Serving:  Relationships are developed during the discussion that encourage each other in trusting the Lord to meet our physical and spiritual daily needs.
•  Maturing:  Utilizing the roundtable form of discussion, the women are encouraged to ask questions regarding the topics discussed and how the theology points can be or are incorporated into their daily activities.

The Women’s Monthly Fellowship meets on the 3rd or 4th Tuesday of each Month –  September through May  – This is a time to study together and encourage each other. Our study this year is the book of Titus, where we will focus on establishing loving, encouraging, supportive Christian relationships with in the Church.

This year we will have two meetings, one at 10:00am and the second at 6:30pm on the same Tuesday, both will be meeting at the church. Having two meetings will enable more women the opportunity to attend.

Schedule: Women’s Fellowship Schedule 2024-2025

•  Serving: A time of fellowship and prayer is part of the monthly meeting, where relationships are developed to encourage and support each other in our daily walk with the Lord.
•   Maturing:  The bible study encourages each women to study God’s Word daily with specific goals so that their understanding of their relationship to God and Christ is deepen.
